STAIR STEP MLM PLAN

The Stair Step Plan is one of the oldest compensation schemes still in market today. It basically starts as the Uni-Level MLM Scheme with unlimited downline positions. This compensation plan is covered by commissions defined from the company policies, depending on the recruitment, sales, performance. Before we talk about Stair Step Plan lets me brief you about Multi-Level Marketing first.

Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) also called as Network Marketing. Network Marketing is a method of earning income by selling products and services through a network of people. Since we know about the MLM now, let’s get into detail about the Stair Step MLM Plan.

STAIR STEP BREAK AWAY PLAN: EXPLAINED

Stair Step Plan has targets on each level as the network line expands. A member from each step is promoted to a higher level as soon as it completes the targets. The member will "Break Away" and distribute a small percentage of bonus to the entire network, which makes it also known as Stair Step Breakaway Plan. Since the plan offers the possibility of limitless earning, sellers with good marketing and trading skills should definitely go for this plan.

In a stair step plan, there are several position levels. These positions are determined by the company, basically its regarding on product sales, performance, recruitment and so on. Companies have different names for different positions, and it changes from a company to another.

Now, let’s have a look at the Stair Step Plan position with an example of a normal corporate organisation.

LEVEL 1:  Sales Executive Level

Sales Executive Level is the most foundation level. This is where the newly recruitments will be at first. They mostly have a sponsor or a promotor to support them.

LEVEL 2:  Distributor Level

A Distributor Level or Level 2 is where a Level 1 people will be promoted to. This will be the second level after the foundation level. Here, you will be handling many Sales Executives who are just below your level.

LEVEL 3:  Supervisor Level

A Distributor Level will be later promoted into A Supervisor Level or Level 3. This I actually the third level from the foundation. Here, you will be managing all the distributors under you.

LEVEL 4:  Assistant Manager Level

An Assistant Manager Level is the fourth level of this plan. Assistant Manager Level or the Level 4 people will be taking care all the Supervisors in the company, making sure they’re doing their tasks.

LEVEL 5:  Manager Level

In a five level Stair Step Plan, Manager Level will be the highest position holder. There’s is a lot of work to reach in this position. Also, you only hold this position if the entire network is working hard reach the desired target.

However, if you have reached to the highest position in a Stair Step Plan, you will be receiving best profit. When the clients in the network reaches to their targets, they will be immediately breaking away and will be promoted to the next level automatically.

MERITS AND DEMERITS USING A STAIR STEP MLM PLAN

A Stair Step MLM Plan is a wide plan with a lot of merits and de merits of its own. Here, I will be discussion about the most important merits and demerits of using Stair Step MLM Plan for you to make you understand about the plan in depth. a Stair Step MLM Plan can be merged with any other MLM Compensation Plan.

MERITS:

The breakaway factor of this plans allows a person to build bigger network and earn benefits from those extended levels. Another advantage of this MLM Plan is the potential depth of the network line, you will get high earnings by developing a large network and with good commission rate. Stair Step MLM Plans have no limit on the number of people who can be recruited into the network downline. Similarly, there is no limitation on the number of recruits that your downline distributors are allowed to recruit.

DEMERITS:

Stair Step MLM plans offer the best commission on the back end, it also requires harder work and patience to eventually earn the commissions. Another disadvantage of the plan is increase in number of productions. Mostly this plan requires large amount of product every month enough to do sales for all the clients. The higher up the level you reach, the higher the production number will become. Also, a long-term potential of a Stair Step Plan is not so interesting for those who have less patience and commitment to their business.
